Plumb Boost'd I know...I know...what's the deal with a Civic on a site called Project Horsepower?! Well here's the deal...This is my roommates 94 Honda Civic...after riding in my car after my turbo swap he decided he needed a turbo on his Civic. Now before you start thinking he's a ricer, here's a little background. He also owns a big four wheel drive Chevy truck as well as an 84 Monte Carlo SS that he's building a 383 Stroker for. This Civic was purchased for nothing more than cheap transportation and good gas mileage...you know how long that lasts when you have two people that love to go fast stuck in the same room to ponder over the what if's... So here's what we came up with...after looking over the prices of the turbo kits available we decided that wasn't an option...all of the kits are at least 3500 bucks. I decided I could hook him up for far less than that. The goal is to get it all done for 500 bucks...I have a feeling the final project will be closer to a grand. We hope it becomes just the opposite of rice...looks slow but hauls ass. I did some research and located a turbo and intercooler for cheap...he decided to purchase the package and Plumb Boost'd had officially began...
