Replacement Oil Filler Cap for early style 2.3 Turbo and 2.3L engines and other 4 cyl Fords from the late 70's to early 80's. Old seals will allow oil to spray onto the valve cover so to keep your engine clean and prevent fires from oil spray, be sure to always have a properly sealing oil cap.
This oil cap style was used until 1986 and is the "quarter turn" style that does not thread into place like the later 87+ version. It's common for 2.3 turbo valve covers to not be original to the application year so be sure to verify your cap is the quarter turn style and not the threaded type before purchase.
