Front Mount Intercooler Kit for Thunderbird Turbo Coupes

This FMIC kit allows the stock radiator to be used. The a/c condenser can be used if it is moved closer to the stock radiator by 1.0". Kit requires no modification to Thunderbird sheetmetal. Movement or removal of the carbon canister is required. Trimming of the inner fender plastic may also be required depending on vehicle. SVO compressor housing or cutting stock outlet pipe 1" above flange or trimming ears off of turbo compressor outlet flange is required to clamp coupler to turbo housing. Clocking housing to match intercooled 2.3 Mustang (SVO) orientation of straight up to slightly to the passenger side is required as well.

-Tubing: 2.5" Aluminized Steel
-Intercooler: Rated for up to 700hp.
-Reduces air temp by 150-200ºF depending on Ambient temperature.

Front Mount Intercooler Kit

-For stock turbo placement only (stock exhaust manifold or replacement manifold/header that mimics stock turbo location).

-Standard Blow Off/Bypass Valve Tube is for our Dual Piston BOV or Single Piston BPV. This is a 1" OD Clamp-on Hose Connection, 1" Silicone Hose goes between bung and valve.

-If you are running a valve that requires a custom flange, you'll need to supply the flange and we will weld it on if you select the custom option below.

-65mm Throttle Body option includes 2.5" to 3.0" adapter coupler and larger T-Bolt clamp for connection to the throttle body.

Rotated intake manifold is not included with rotated tubing kits. See elsewhere on our site for ported and/or rotated intakes.
